Learning to live with limits

About three years ago this week the health care system found out that I have the same sort of health issues that took my dads life. It sent us for a pretty big loop.

Well three years later and we are continuing along and the health issue hasn’t been as aggressive as the doctors first thought. It’s more of a slow process so who knows what the future holds.

But it means there are weeks like this when I need to head up into the city for some tests. Today was one of those days.

Glad to say I’m in a fairly good headspace these days, so it won’t be front and center in my mind. I can get on with life while we wait for the results.

We have come a long way in that regard.

Oh, and more snow forecast this weekend. :(
