Lampshade
This old lampshade was made by a former neighbor’s mother, who cut and punched it out of paper. Growing up in Ohio, my sister and I and our parents lived 3000 miles from other family members, and Connie and Bob became surrogate grandparents. Many fond memories, such as cooking pancakes on a grill in the carport during a thunderstorm.
A bit discouraged with the writing the last couple days, but will persevere and hope for a flash of brilliance. (cough)
