Strong Women Move Mountains

Dear Diary,

I attended a wonderful art opening at the Pace Gallery at Fryeburg   Academy.  It was a display of work from the Women's Art Collaborative and featured some amazing pieces by 25 women artists in many mediums.  My favorite was this one by Gay Freeborn of climate activist Greta Thunberg and a polar bear.  Gay paints incredible animal portraits and I have been a fan of hers for years.  The centerpiece of the show was the painting, Athenai, The Sisterhood, a collaborative piece created by 8 artists. (extra)  Proceeds from the sale of this huge work will go to Planned Parenthood and Starting Point, a woman's charity.  I've added two additional extras from the show.
