My great-nephew, age 6, having never before shown any real interest in drawing, suddenly started producing confidently, swiftly and fluidly executed expressive line drawings.

Here are the neighbouring houses of his grandparents and great grandparents, each with its tree (a 25+ year old silver birch and 250+ year old sycamore). And his grandfather.

We all assume primary school has freed him. Or it is a dramatic version of how this expressive skill just happens.
