Last....

Solo of this little run of busy.

She spent quite a bit of the day in a grump. When she got up and came into my room in a foul mood, I suggested she go back to her bed and take a reset. It helped a bit but we were still late setting off for ballet because she hadn't done her getting ready and had lost various things. She definitely enjoyed Royal but looked tired when she came out. She made herself snuggly in her car seat and had a nap the entire drive home from Leeds. Proper deep asleep.

She did a brilliant job of her solo despite the accompanist (who sets the tempo in this paetoucalr piece) setting off far too slow. She breathed stunningly to accommodate some now massive phrases.. It was interesting, B had elected to not play for her, wanting to give it to the accompanist who could do it more accurately. But having heard it, she certainly felt she'd have rather played it with a few wrong notes and the more sparkly, imaginative version that the two of them do together. Anyway, It's the final outing of this sonata, certainly for a while, and it was still definitely lovely. On now to some fun and new pieces!
