Barnacled bottom

The weather stayed bright for the beach clean this afternoon and I was heartened by the number of people who turned up. Among the mass of plastic containers, tops, discarded toys, sticks from cotton buds, plastic twine and bits of polystyrene foam was a large section of a wooden boat. I thought the barnacles caught the sunshine well.
