A Christmas rock

We went to a local nature reserve but no birds were close by as volunteers were cutting and burning scrub.  I did spot this very jolly Rudolph painted rock that someone had left there though. 

We then went to the garden centre where I bought a small crab apple tree for my garden - the birds should appreciate that. Somehow some flower plants found their way into my trolley - it's funny how this always seems to happen!

During the afternoon I did some gardening to clear the area for my tree, a job that I've been putting off because of all the rain. F is going to call round and help me plant it some time, I'm always grateful for a bit of assistance!
