A Family Walk In The Sunshine

The big day today....21 years ago since Eldest came kicking and screaming into this world to change our lives forever.

After a rowdy breakfast with Eldest’s friends cooked by team effort, it was time for presents and a few tears as he opened his ring..he loved it.

Once our house guests had left, we went for a family walk in the sunshine to one of our local woodlands. The boys allowed me the rare opportunity to take some photos of them together...unfortunately I had forgotten to charge my camera so had to make do with my phone camera. After our walk we felt it would have been rude not to stop at the local pub for a quick pint.

This evening we headed into York for dinner at The Rattle Owl, a local restaurant with a really good reputation and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We left Eldest in York to meet his old school friends and have a night out around town. We certainly had a lovely time and I hope he enjoyed it as much as we did.
