First day of work

Today was my first day working with a school trip! I left the hotel bright and early this morning with the school who come from Devizes in Wiltshire. First, we went to a chocolaterie, to see how they make (very expensive!) chocolate. After that, we went to a town called Le Tourquet, which is effectively a holiday town for rich Parisians, and has a population of 6000 in winter, and 20000 in summer when all the rich people are on their holidays. It is also the town where Emmanuel Macron lives when he is not in Paris, so we walked past his house, which is very nice and very big, but also completely empty. Despite the fact that no-one was in, the house was still guarded by lots of armed policemen. We also went to the beach, which was very nice - but a it chilly!

After Le Touquet, we went to a goat farm where we fed, held and milked goats, and made bread! We then went back to the hotel, ate dinner, did a quiz and then I walked back into town to my apartment where I plan on going to bed very early!
