Raclette

I'm back! This time, I am spending semester in the town of Desvres in the north-east of France and working in a hotel called the Hôtel du Moulin aux Draps (for anyone interested!). I've been here for a week but I spent the first week in the hotel where the WiFi was patchy at best, so I was unable to upload any photos. I have now moved into my very nice apartment that the hotel are very kindly allowing me to live in for free! Work has been very quiet recently as there's not a lot of people staying in the hotel, but when school trip season starts, I'm told it's going to be very busy!

This evening, my boss and her housemate invited myself and my flatmate to their house to try a raclette which is very very French. I enjoyed it a lot but I was less keen on the conversation - it turns out that the three of them are all very in to their heavy metal music, which isn't really my thing...
