Destructions

As I made my way home after an afternoon grading at a coffee shop, I discovered that the buildings from these photographies were being demolished. It's always a bit sad: instead of apartment buildings, there is a very distinct possibility that these will be, yet again, turned into condos, which will double their value and their cost, and cause people who would normally find lodging there to have to go further east... And the birds will lose their party house. Never forget the birds.
