First Day of Porch Sitting

Dear Diary,

It is warming up a bit and I opened the porch and introduced Lulu to it for the first time since she came to live with me in November.  She was very dubious.  I had to carry her out and she ran right back into the house so I just left the door open.  She eventually, timidly, went out to explore, sniffing every nook and cranny.  Finally, she hopped up on the futon, Emerson's favorite place, and looked right at home!  It really feels like spring is here when there is  a cat on the porch!
