And the Winner is ..............

I mentioned last week that one of the photographs I'd submitted to the BBC Weather Watchers had been short listed for the Winter Photo of the Season.  Well the winner was announced on BBC Breakfast and I was gobsmacked to find I'd won.  No trip of a lifetime as a prize this time, but to realise that it was the most popular from a public vote was humbling.  Even Dan Walker called it a 'Belter"!  I know many of my friends here voted (or tried to even if you didn't live in the UK), so thank you very much.

The original was taken back in December on one of those sublime days when lighting and atmospheric conditions combined to such great effect.
