I'm not sure how the new 'self-isolate for a week if you feel unwell' rules will work. They could cripple some workplaces, such as the special school and nursery where I work. I might be wrong, of course. But why aren't we doing something different?

The place where I volunteer has a group of adults who usually go out by bus to Gloucester. They have been banned from using the bus. If that option fails, usually they go to Wetherspoons. Today, they were taken to a popular cafe instead. Can't see the difference myself. Our art and craft group met as usual, but I practised foot shaking instead of hugs!
