Boiler Room Gate

The old boiler room building used to heat and power the original Hydro Majestic Hotel. Since its revival the "Boiler Room" has become an upmarket bistro but still retains many of its historical attributes such as this old gate. I thought it'd be a usefully distorted subject for my BCL.

The effect of COVID19 is readily visible. The hotel was extremely quiet. No one was around and the "Boiler Room" was closed. There were a handful of cars about. No staff or business activity of any kind seemed apparent. Things are bad. Oddly enough the gardens and lawns looked green and healthy. The Megalong Valley beyond seemed as pretty as a picture.
