Back Lit

Occasionally while walking about I see some simple sight which inspires me to take a picture. This little branch of leaves backlit by the morning sun is a case in point. I cannot tell you about the plant species or anything like that, I just thought it was beautiful.

You know, set against a stark white background, this picture looks too dull. I could have brightened it up in post processing but my eyes tell me that it looks just fine as it is. Brightening simply overheats and (quite frankly) spoils the picture, to my way of thinking. You guessed it. Please look LARGE.
