Empty seats at Haymarket station. Maybe it was just a quiet interlude or maybe people have decided not to travel. Who knows?

After much internal wrangling Lyn and I decided to make our weekend trip. We're off to see my sister and BiL, Lyn's auntie and uncle, who live in Bristol. Because I'm trying not to fly in 2020 we're on the train. Let's hope we get past Carlisle this time https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2664472669759474098

It's an epic journey and made even more epic by using a fare splitting website. It is much cheaper doing it this way but our journey takes us from Scotland to England to Wales and finally back to England just as the sun is going over the yardarm. So lots of sitting about today and not many steps but a lovely weekend ahead.
