A great day out.
I've just got back from my "Epic East Coast Workshop", it was an early start with visits to the many bays and villages on the east coast of Yorkshire. I've posted shots of Saltwick bay, where we blipped a shipwreck, Groynes at Sandsend and the pretty fishing village of Cowbar Nab. We went into Whitby where we had (very good) fish and chips and thought about visiting the abbey but there just wasn't the time. After lunch we called in at Runswick Bay and Cowbar Nab; by this time I was flagging and I didn't actually walk down into the village with the others and at this point I decided to call it a day and come home. My companions were hardier than me and continued on to Staithes and Saltburn - I would have loved to go too but I was just too tired.
Many thanks for stopping by my journal, it's very much appreciated. :-)
