Winter comfort food
equal quanities of cooked smoked haddock and mashed potato
slurp of milk
knob of butter (no sniggering)
egg (optional)
Mix up together and top with grated cheese. Bake until bubbling.
(A sliced tomato adds vitamins, taste and colour - but we have run out of tomatoes so had to do without).
Serve with a spoonful or two of Birds Eye peas.
