Bob Dylan

Spent a thrilling day at a conference in Newcastle with the catchy title 'The ethics of global tax planning'. I'd like to say I made a profound contribution, but you could write everything I know about tax on the back of a ten pound note, and there would still be room left over.

On the bright side, I spent the train journey catching up with my very good friend of nearly thirty years. I got to be best man at his wedding. I think he looks just like a younger Bob Dylan, but I'm biased.
