The view from the Bird's Nest

Many of you mentioned your concerns re the new self isolation requirements for travellers to New Zealand and sadly it means that Simone's family and Joe's brother and uncle won't be able to get here for the wedding. Regretfully it's been postponed. So disappointing as so much work had gone into the planning and organising and it was going to be an astonishing feat to get us all down under. Anyway, we're here for a while, have cancelled our road trip and will attempt to make ourselves useful.
This is the early morning view from the Birds Nest, their Airbnb, not bad eh. And in the extra, Himself has gone native! If you have to be stranded somewhere it could be worse!
