A Day At A Time.

Day 1: Deserted

No dog walkers, no fishermen, no sailing boats and no tankers.

Everywhere has a very eerie stillness and quiet to it this morning. The roads are empty, the golf clubs shut and only Juan's chiringuito is hanging on against orders for one last day.

So we held the last meeting of the Breakfast Club for the foreseeable future.

Now everyone is back home and battening down the hatches. It is all rather unsettling, but it will be interesting to see how the local population, not famous around the world for complying with instructions, copes with Monday morning.

We suspect that the police will be out in force, checking the validity of anybody on the roads. Jacqui has to take her work contract to prove she has a reason to enter Gibraltar.
