A chilly day

in lots of ways made warmer by my children who can always bring a smile to my face.

I need to record the things that they have said lest I should ever forget their beautiful innocence.

Everyday for the last week Dexter has looked at me and said in wonder: "It's snowing today" over and over and over and the first thing he says to me, with a great big smile, when he is collected from the creche is: "Mummy I good day at creche" (even though he often cries when we leave him and repeatedly says "no creche today"). His other favourite phrase at the moment is "I really really funny."

Olivia continues to test us with her questions and her two gems this evening where: 'How was the first person born?" and "Do you get babies in your tummy by having special kisses from someone you love, like Dexter?"

I love these kids more and more each day.
