Home alone for 6+ hours & Coronavirus

Soooooo................. today Ann met her friends for cocktails & dinner to discuss their upcoming holiday to Seville. …..............Except they're obviously now not going to Seville. So they just had cocktails & dinner. In the 'Slug & Lettuce' which was very, very empty.



Before Ann met them she went and did a last minute 'Meet & Greet'. Being self employed she has to take the work when & where it's offered and as most of her clients are foreign, her work is going to dry up very soon. And that will probably mean my treats will also stop.



Anyway all this meant that I got left 'home alone' for six and a half hours. That's the longest I've ever been left. But do you know what?......................... I was the bestest little collie pup ever. When Ann came home I was happily snoozing in my bed. Though I had, had a lovely walk through Hermitage of Braid first. How good am I??



Coronavirus is worrying, but what is actually more worrying, is the selfish people who are 'panic buying'. This morning Ann went to Tesco to do her normal weekly shop. There were hardly any spaces left in the car park and the shop inside was mobbed. And it wasn't only pasta and toilet rolls that weren't on the shelves. It was wine everything. The check out lady said that yesterday there were 60 people waiting outside for the shop to open. What is wrong with people? Apparently sales of freezers have increased and people are doing HUGE shops at one supermarket and then moving onto another one. And lets face it people..................... If you can afford to buy a new freezer on a whim and if you have the room in your house to stock pile stuff for a few months, then you probably aren't the one's at risk??!! Oh & there were so many people in Tescos this morning, that if Ann gets Coronavirus that's probably where she's got it from???



It's the same old story....................... The old, the vulnerable and the low income families are the ones who going to catch this horrible disease because they haven't got the luxury of being able to stockpile and self isolate.



….................BUT Ann must not RANT??!! So RANT over!!!
