Sights from my Bike Ride

I couldn't resist taking another ride today.  The weather was about the same as yesterday so I layered up but kept all my layers on.  I saw a trail on the bike map and decided to check it out...only I somehow missed it.  Instead of going back, I just kept going on the road.  There was very little traffic.  I came up with a new route as I rode along and, ironically, I hooked up with the trail I had been looking for.  It was going to be a shorter ride today but, because of the detour, it ended up being 29 miles.  So, another collage today of sights seen along the way.

I am grateful that we can still be outside!  The rest of the week isn't going to be good riding weather so I'm planning to walk with Piper and her dad. :-)

I almost forgot, that's a Western Meadowlark in the upper right, my first one of the year.  And if you look closely at the horse, you will see that there is a bird sitting on his back. :-))
