The unforgiving minute...

Gold Star

"I love the feeling of creating pictures in someone's mind just by spelling out the right lyrical combination."

I used to play around with a little bit of writing.
A few lifetimes ago.
(If I were a cat I'd be down to my last 2 lives I reckon)

I'm always fascinated and encouraged by the fact that little letters on a page, or a screen, or scratched into a tree if you like ... just variations of 26 little letters, in a myriad of permutations and combinations, can evoke such a range of emotional reactions in people.

String the right letters together in the right order and you can make people laugh until their gut and their cheeks ache, or in a different order you might strike a chord such that they cry, in empathy. The written word can galvanise an entire nation into action, or it can cut a person down so that they feel like they have lost all hope.

Monkey has the literary bug.
I wonder where that might go.

Having said that, she also has the Superhero / Skater / Rock-star bug

I'm trying not to fret too much about where that might go.
