Working from home...

...has its advantages.

I was chatting to a colleague on the phone and spotted a kestrel dart by the window. Fortunately Mr Kes hung around long enough for me to get the long lens out and take a snap of him. Even better he had his eye on a tasty furry morsel for lunch, which you can see him eating in the extra. 

The pic is quite a crop of the original that was taken using the 400mm lens with the 1.4x tele-convertor attached as well. Nonetheless, glad I caught him. Hope he comes back for more rich pickings.
