What a difference sunshine makes

A beautiful sunny day

My wife planted a number of new bulbs which have begun to bloom - sadly she can't find the packet - anyone out there no what is the name of the flower.

I have to admit, as a couple who are in the at 'risk category' we are not, so far, suffering from being 'confined to barracks'. We are truly fortunate to have a lovely bungalow and a beautiful garden and have children and grown up grandchildren looking after us. However, we are very mindful of others who are nowhere near as fortunate as us. 

We have been praying for our Pastor friend in Uganda, who also runs a school for 350 children, many of whom are orphans - the school has been closed, the church has had to stop all their meetings. The biggest thing we were praying about was that we here are constantly being told to wash our hands - in Africa, water is very hard to come by, so they have less protection than we have.

Be safe, be thankful and pray for others less fortunate.
