Flower Friday

The first of my daffodils to open up.  They are in tubs beside the front door, and the flowers in one tub always open up before the other side.  I guess in a couple of days they will all be open.  A walk down the village this morning in the lovely sunshine to get eggs and meat from the butchers.  The eggs are huge, and he tells me that everyone says they have all had double yolks.  I did also buy myself a bottle of wine from the post office/off licence - have missed the trips to the pub this week so thought I would treat myself, and I’m guessing all pubs will probably close their doors soon!   Called to see one of our bus pass walkers and had a good cuddle with her little dog.  We did our social distancing - the bus pass walker and I that is - the dog was snuggled as close as he could get!  Edit - pubs ordered to close from tonight!
