Tongland Hydro Power Station

Today's the day …………………….. to spring forth

The Tongland Power Station always looks lovely at this time of the year.

Someone, at some time, has planted lots of daffodils - and then right in front of it are three cherry trees which will look magnificent in a few weeks.  Add into that, the apple trees just to the right, and you have a riot of blossom and colour that you wouldn't perhaps associate with your average power station.

They knew how to do things back in the 1930s …………………...
