Too many thoughts from today.

Tesco this morning was a good example of how not to do social distancing. I waited patiently until I could get to the salad, picked up the one essential item and was out as quickly as possible. Around the corner at Boots they were allowing a maximum of 8 people in the store and there was tape on the floor to denote the 'no go' area by the counter. What a contrast.

Many shops, all cafes and hotels were closed.

Out for a short walk with my husband after lunch. Quiet where we were but could see that the main car park was full. I thought more people would be staying at home (or in their local area) after yesterday's announcement about closure of cafes, pubs etc to minimise spread of the virus.

Then another wander on my own ...... the quiet(er) route to the park. I got the main photo while walking back through the village. The motorcyclists spotted me taking their photo and waved.

The butchers shop had a sign up saying it had closed early because they ran out of stock. Sounds like panic buying.
