Happy mother's day

A big day! Skypes with my brother in Manchester and Will in Bristol, both pretty gloomy.a bit of panic as to how to pay the rent with work now closed, Will works in a climbing centre and my brother in a theatre. Tough not to see friends too but Facebook and WhatsApp groups seem to be flourishing. They both think we're in the right place and I have to agree.
Hot tub, bouncy swim, then off to Rabbit Island which was glorious. Lots of people around, swimming, surfing, cycling, walking but all keeping their distance. We had an isolated picnic - that's beetroot hummus being consumed. Later we had large ice creams at Mapua, hand sanitizers and obligatory distance to the fore. Esme had her first frozen yogurt - oh boy, that hit the spot.
We've just had a delicious stir fry, a bottle of something sparkling and all shared Simone's mother's day treat -  a frankincense and sandalwood face mask. They're back in the hot tub and himself and I shall follow shortly. Isolation tomorrow I suspect.
