Spirals...

... of course. This rather elegant spiral staircase was purchased on ebay just before we moved over here. Himself had to travel down to Corfe Castle in Dorset to pick it up. It originally came from Italy and was accompanied by a video complete with an incredibly chic Italian in an incredibly chic boilersuit explaining in incredibly chic Italian how to put it together! In the end Himself did it in his own way and it now connects the studio with the upstairs man den cum Netflix etc viewing space. So an architectural glimpse into the workings of our house!

We've had no internet today so have been doing useful things. Himself has been tidying his workshop and I've been planting beetroot and doing domestic stuff. It's now back but I don't think we missed much.
