Praying people
A very headachy but gorgeous start to the day when Asha, Danny and Nate presented me with breakfast in bed and a bag of gifts from Asha. She'd made cards, saved up her sweets for me, and made me a beautiful earring (I'll add a pic into extras). She knows I like wearing small earrings in 1 ear and a long one in the other - she knows me well. I felt very loved.
Today was also special to tune into the live stream of 2 of the church services from our home church in the UK...very very wonderful to feel part of it. One of the things they suggested was to get the kids writing and decorating prayers, which Asha did this afternoon - in fact her prayer is her blip for today.
I'm glad we got to Zoom my folks and sister this morning - lovely to say happy Mother's Day in person, as it were!! Love and appreciate you Mom!
Each night at bedtime we ask the kids what they want to say thankyou to Jesus for, one of Nate's things tonight was he wanted to say thankyou for praying, ha! I know what he means though, I feel so so grateful to be able to turn to Jesus.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Hearing about a gorgeous shout out from one special Brewer. It made my day, thankyou Petra.
2) The love and effort Asha put into Mother's Day.
3) Being part of Sutton Baps today.
