Down time
Today was a good and productive day. Asha's teacher sent through a lot less work for the next couple of days and seemed pleased with what she'd done last week. Danny and I sorted various parts of the flat...we'll be so organised by the time this lockdown is over, the challenge will be to maintain it!
Danny made a delicious curry for lunch - took some to a couple of the homeless guys who've so far refused to go to the shelter. By all accounts the police have been really kind to them, they even stopped and thanked Danny for helping people the other day!! Unheard of!
A chilled afternoon of puzzles, lego, a film, more sorting of second hand clothes we've been given (all way too big, so every now and then we check to see what might fit)...and clapping and cheering at 8pm - more and more people are joining in, bashing pots and pans too!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Getting an unexpected delivery from the local wine shop - 3 bottles of delicious vino, sent to us by James and Rich!! Later heard Claire had also had a delivery. Such kindness and generosity!!! Love those 2!
2) Danny discovering how much he enjoys cooking...something I'm not sure we'd have known if it weren't for this lockdown.
3) A clutter free bathroom!
