He came closer

With the weather due to worsen after lunch I decided this morning to walk Tizzy along the river at Styal, very near to where I was yesterday. During one of our little stops (for the dog, not me!) I heard a 'chirp' very close to where we were standing. Now, I don't know about you but I'm 99% certain this is the same little chap from yesterday.

So, I apologise for an image of a Robin on two consecutive days but I am rather taken by this wee bird. I may, weather allowing, head back down that way again tomorrow.

Now to an important point........

I returned back home to discover, after less than a month on here, a great deal of positive comments and I want to thank all of you for taking the time to do so. I have laughed quite a bit at some of them (you know who you are) which has convinced me that this is a great community to belong to.

So, I raise a glass to all of you. It is after all Burns Night.
