MOTHERING SUNDAY

More emotions today but definitely feel calmer than yesterday.

Briefly met J who came out of isolation (he hadn’t got it just taking precautions )for a 10 min walk in the park keeping our 2m distance. He carefully placed a card and gift on the kerb and then left. all so strange
O came in with one daff he had picked from MY garden cheeky sod!!! Then made me a card!!!
Popped up to Mums for a brief chat at a distance. It’s a fine balance between loneliness, mental well-being and isolation. So glad the sunshine was out again so we could sit outside. We also checked on Grandan my great cousin in law!!! he has no direct family and distant relatives live too far away to help him. Another fine balance.

The Rev did a full on garden session!!! He’s hopeless at slowing down...we’ll have all jobs done before lockdown starts :))) Then we don’t be able to help others!!! sorry Mum...it would be an ideal time but just not possible.

I shared a lovely lunch with The Rev and O roasted duck...mmmm
