Quiet Streets

Gov. Kate Brown issued stay-at-home orders today in Oregon in an effort to slow the spread of Coronavirus. The streets are quiet, businesses shuttered, schools closed, parks closed, travel restricted...well, that's good for bicycling. It's been over two years since I have ridden my bicycle. I was injured in an auto accident and parked my bike (I thought permanently), but my wrist has healed, the streets were clear, the sun  lighting up the world, and WOW! If I never get on it again...this, this day, this precious day... was a good day for a ride.
