Social Distancing

Delivered (carefully) a loaf of Oat bread I’d made to my Sister-in-law who lives nearby. Streets eerily quiet. Still the Magnolia trees in luscious bloom, and along the way I walked beneath a Cherry tree with a breathtaking fragrance. Such contradictions...this glorious Spring...and all of us hunkered down for our lives.
