Out and about under lockdown.

I had an early start to get to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital in preparation for a prostate biopsy. My brother took me in.
I can't have a MRI scan as my pacemaker is not MRI compatible, so I have to have the template biopsy which involves 24 or so samples being taken by using a needle inserted between the scrotum and rectum, all while they watch on a ultrasound image from a camera in your rectum. Sounds like fun (not).
Local anaesthetic only, so at least I was able to have breakfast.
Sounds like a pain in the *#&+.
And afterwards it's take paracetamol, which would be freely available if it wasn't for the panic buying.
