Wound up in Wexford

Rearranged

We did our balance and co-ordination class in the comfort of our office today.  And then spent 30 minutes doing aerobic exercise - W on the treadmill, me on the bike.  We had already cleared things somewhat - we had to, as the treadmill borrowed from the neighbours takes up more room than the cross trainer, which we have now sold as I've never got on with it, and recently, W found it made his knees hurt.

But after our exercise session, we spent some time re-arranging things so that we have more clear space for our next session - I will clear up the visible slip hazards before then!  If/when we take delivery of the recumbent bike on order, we will need to slightly re-organise again.  And the ladder at the back of the room is so that we can deal with the very low hanging lights.  But all in all, much improved.

We discussed what else could be done to make the room more appropriate to our current needs.  Not in the photo, to the far left, are W's desk and filing cabinets - these are no longer needed, since he is now retired, so will be gradually sorted and cleared.  One of my plans was to sort the books out - many could be disposed of - but not much point in putting books into boxes when there is nowhere to take the boxes at the moment - they take up less room on the bookshelf.

In the afternoon, W spent some profitable time in his workshop, and I enjoyed some time playing my flute.  And now we are hunkered down for the evening, gins in hand.
