Lockdown Day 1: Oil

As in pouring on troubled waters
Or oiling the wheels
Or putting it on rice cakes for a late night snack - Strider’s idea not mine

You’d need an awful lot of oil for the troubled waters we are in at the moment.

Anyway, day one in the Boris Lockdown house. TSM and I worked at home. Everyone else walked, ran, cycled and entertained themselves as best they could. Mystic Em did a lovely supper. There is solidarity and love in sitting around the dinner table together. 

I wonder how we’ll look back on this...
