Planning challenges...

Some of you know me well, and know my love of spreadsheets, order and precision. 
And know I’m an ex auditor Some of you will have been audited by me. A Myers Briggs facilitator (I think jokingly) suggested I needed help for my extreme ‘J’ tendency. 

So, I am sharing my process for food optimisation during the current period. 

It seems perfectly clear and logical, each item listed with its best before date, and in date order.

However I have a process failure. A partner, who is the diametric opposite of me in personality tests.  Who sees rules and process as a challenge, and likes to subvert just because he can....

So I need to re-engineer.. to address, amongst other things, the following..

‘What’s burrata?’ 
‘Why can’t you just call it cheese?’ 
‘Oh look, I can move the date labels independently of the product’
‘Why use date order, why not alphabetical, or list by product?’ 
Items used without the label being removed
Label names can be annotated or changed, so hence we have ‘chicken tits’ and ‘flour with a nice personality’

I could, I guess,  increase my monitoring... hide the pen... or resign myself to the fact that we will have strange meal combinations despite my best endeavours.

Seeing as we are not used to being in the same country at the same time as each other, let alone in the same house,  the next few months is really going to be a challenge!
