Spofforth Castle shadows

I took advantage of the warmer weather and went out on two wheels again. It's supposed to be getting cooler this weekend.
The castle at Spofforth looked lovely in the spring sunshine. I had intended to go further but shortly afterwards my ride was interrupted by a puncture caused by a huge thorn (in extra).  I then had a faulty valve in my spare tube which was a pain to swap with the old one as it didn't want to be unscrewed. After all the faffing about, I decided to head home for a cup of tea!
