Clap for our carers!!

The Lord Nelson itself is temporarily closed - what with one thing and another - so this was a nice use for their sign. 

We stood outside our house at 8pm; and joined the rest of the neighbourhood in applause.  You could hear the sounds from the adjacent roads.  Somebodies saucepan was getting a hammering.

Bit alarming to see the people driving past and applauding at the same time!  But no harm done on this occasion.
