Alone on the beach

Finished a report that has taken me most of the week and a lot of grumbling around 4pm. Should have sorted out some more admin to fill the working day but I mutinied and escaped to the beach.

Everyone else had gone out with the dog earlier. So it was just me and my audio book and some birds flitting about. Made me think that as I’ll probably be walking around this area a lot in the weeks to come I should record birds and animalsI see as well as which flowers are in bloom, so I’ll do that on my blip. Not sure I’ll manage pics of anything more than blobs in the distance but it should still be interesting to read what I see and how things change.

Birds: 
Oystercatcher - 2 pairs
Ringed plover - 1 pair
Gulls, not sure species - lots
Shellduck - 1 pair
Heron - 2
Greylag geese - flock, approx 30
Skylark - 1
Twice - 1
