Time to cook
I could have done some cleaning but decided that feeding the household was more necessary... and more fun.
Fridge bottom soup for lunch - tomato, black bean and celeriac
Experimented with ‘damper’ an Australian version of soda bread, pretty good and easy to make
Dinner was:
Mushroom and leek risotto
Herb bread (this is the one in the picture)
Chocolate mousse with ice cream
All vegan and all bloody tasty. I finally got round to making chocolate mousse from avocado. Everyone reckoned that it was one of the best chocolate mousse they had tasted.... and not even a whisper of guacamole.
