Thank you for all the comments on yesterday’s blip.

These are pretty much the same trees as featured there, at a similar time of the day. I did a very similar walk, just in the opposite direction. Finished another day of phone calls and teleconferences feeling much more hopeful that we are starting to get support coordinated, at least it seems like we’re understanding which pieces should be in which jigsaw even if we’re still not certain which pieces are missing or how big the total puzzle is!

I’m really pleased to see that various organisations have been quick to put aside many historic rivalries and recognise that the only option is to draw on all support, whether it’s being offered by voluntary groups, councils, businesses, police and fire and rescue (the nhs obviously have their hands full with really ill people rather than the vulnerable that we’re looking at)
