4hrs of wearing full PPE

Did my first COVID case laparotomy today and had to use the COVID theatres. There’s still work to be done to get things spot on, but the hardest thing was how painful the masks are. I’ve seen pictures of nurses with bleeding faces and sores and I totally sympathise with them. I had 4 hours of wearing it and I was in so much pain add to that how hot and sweaty you get. This is not going to be fun going forwards!
