Oakfield Shooting Range

Amy was up early doing Covid vaccines so I was in charge for pancake duty. After pancakes we decided to test out Martins revolver, so we printed out some targets, I made a backstop and then after the 3 of watched an online shooting safety video and donning eye protection we spent an hour shooting pellets at the targets. Was good fun, although a few ricochet pellets may have been a bit close. Afternoon was spent exploring Chevin woods with Hector and enjoying some fresh air before home for tea and then meeting up online with Dan for some games. Got to play Carnegie which was superb game, really really well designed and clever and then a few games of Draftosaurus for a laugh. Been a while since managed to get some decent board gaming in so was good to learn and play a big heavy game.
